Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, self-driven Integrated Solutions Partner: Tech and Trades to join our growing team. This hybrid role combines IT problem-solving, project acquisition, and cross-industry sales. You will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and managing client contracts across both our IT services and construction offerings, using a mix of in-person outreach, digital marketing, and solution-based consulting.
About the role: As a Strategic Solutions Partner at BuildWell Industries LLC, you’ll spearhead the delivery of integrated IT and construction services to small businesses and in‑home clients. Leveraging consultative sales, technical acumen, and entrepreneurial flair, you’ll originate and complete solutions‑oriented projects—driving growth, client satisfaction, and your own income.

Key Responsibilities
The contractor is responsible for maintaining all required professional licenses, certifications, liability insurance, and any applicable permits for work performed.
🔹 Project Acquisition & Sales
Actively seek out new business opportunities through cold outreach, social media platforms, networking events, and business directories.
Conduct client consultations to uncover IT or construction needs and present solutions that align with their goals.
Cross-sell services between IT and construction sectors by identifying opportunities during conversations.
Generate, negotiate, and manage service contracts from start to finish.
Track industry trends and client pain points to anticipate demand and offer relevant services.
Annual earnings range based on commission history and average project size/value.
🔹 IT Solutions & Support
Assess and troubleshoot basic IT issues for small businesses and private in-home clients, including:
Wi-Fi devices, protocols, and signal issues.
Data restoration and backup solutions.
Network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and cabling.
Office hardware: printers, monitors, keyboards, mice, etc.
Operating systems: Windows/macOS basics and settings.
File servers and shared drives.
Video connectivity (VGA, DisplayPort, HDMI, etc.).
Understanding and use of common network ports (e.g., 80, 443).
Windows firewalls and basic group policy configuration.
🔹 Construction Services Support
Identify potential construction service needs during IT consultations or cold outreach.
Understand and measure job sites, gather project requirements, and help scope work.
Draft and communicate clear scopes of work for construction and IT projects.
Coordinate with internal teams or contractors to ensure project fulfillment.
Contractor must comply with BWI confidentiality and IT-security policies when accessing client systems or data.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven sales or business development experience, preferably B2B.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative approach.
Working knowledge of:
Common IT systems and devices (WiFi, OS, network basics).
Ports, firewalls, and basic security (especially on Windows systems).
Office equipment and infrastructure troubleshooting (keyboards, mouse, printers, routers, switches, and cabling).
Basic understanding of construction concepts, such as:
Site measurements
Job scoping
Materials and labor estimation
Experience with creating and managing contracts and client communications.
Familiarity using social media, online platforms, and databases for lead generation.
Self-starter mentality with strong time management and organizational skills.
Preferred (but not required):
Experience in both IT support and general contracting/sales roles.
Familiarity with CRM tools and digital sales platforms.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science.
5 Years of experience in Construction, Sales, or Information Technology.
